How Do You Get to Mossman Gorge?

Mossman Gorge is a short drive from Cairns and Port Douglas, so it’s an easy day trip for North Queenslanders. It’s also accessible by public transport, with the local bus service running a regular route from both towns straight to the National Park.

What about getting from Palm Cove to Mossman Gorge? If you’re starting your journey from Palm Cove, the easiest way to get to Mossman Gorge is by car. The entire drive takes around an hour and a half, so it’s also possible to do it as a day trip if you want to squeeze in some sightseeing along the way. Alternatively, you can take a shuttle or a transfer service that will take you there in just under two hours.

Once you arrive at Mossman Gorge, the first thing to do is to pay the entry fee. Adults are charged around $10 per person and children aged 6-14 are charged around $5 per person.
