Huawei Matebook 14s: Should You Buy It?

Published on

The Chinese tech giant Huawei has always been a leader in developing some of the greatest laptops in the history of technology. They were the very first company introducing Dolby Atmos audio on a laptop.

Continuing the legacy, Huawei Matebook 14 is the first laptop in the first offering windows 11 and the top-notch features offered in laptops by the competitors. The Matebook 14s has got the features that are really unique among the Huawei laptops, such as Huawei share, making it convenient to share audio and video files wirelessly to other Huawei devices.

Features of Huawei Matebook 14s

  • Design:

All the Huawei MateBooks look very similar to each other in the design from the very first model till the latest. The only change in the design is the logo that moved from the old styled petals to Huawei branding.

The Huawei Matebook 14s look very decent and sturdy, similar to the other Huawei laptops. But there is only one thunderbolt port available on the laptop that is also an option for the consumer. All the MateBooks are made of aluminum and have a base color called space grey.

  • Display:

The Huawei MateBook 14s comes with a 90Hz 14.2-inch beautiful screen. The screen refresh rate is the unique selling point for this sturdy laptop. The model offers a 90% screen-to-body ratio. And Huawei claims to be the only laptop with the highest screen-to-body ratio.

  • Performance:

The Huawei MateBook 14s comes with the Intel Core i7-11370H, 16GB RAM, and a 1TB SSD. This is a very decent configuration that you will not see in the market for many years. The company offers the H-series leading processor, the H35/ 35W. It is the only quad-core device with eight threads that provide power in thin & light devices.

  • Battery:

The Huawei MateBook 14s offers a battery life of a maximum of 6 hours on a single charge, which is a pretty good option. The working time of the laptop is very consistent and performs various tasks very smoothly.

  • Keyboard:

The Huawei Matebook 14s has a keyboard with 1.5mm keys. The keys depth has been a standard since Huawei started making keyboards for its windows laptops.

The keyboard gives a very good feel, is very accurate and has no lag while typing. There is a separate button among the F6 & F7 keys, whereas there is no camera available at the back.

  • Fingerprint Scanner:

The laptop comes with an additional fingerprint scanner adding to the security of the computer. The scanner also works as the power on & off button making it multi-purpose to use.

The Huawei Matebook 14s is a quite decent device with an amazing display and productivity performance. It is sad to see a few tangible devices connecting ports and the 720p webcam. The company must consider a 1080p webcam for better video calls. Ramadan sale laptop is on for all the Huawei laptops. Go check out for amazing Huawei devices at discounted prices.
